The View Screen feature allows Enterprise Portal users to quickly launch and print Crystal reports directly from their current Enterprise Portal screen using the Report button. The reports run automatically and are displayed in Adobe Acrobat as a .PDF file when complete, where it can easily be printed.
This feature functions differently than the GUI Execute Screen Report feature. The Execute Screen Report feature’s report applies to Application records that match the screen’s filter criteria. The View Screen Report feature’s report only applies to the selected record in the screen’s grid. If you wish to use both features, then a User ID will need to be created for each feature use.
