User Renumbering

The User Renumbering screen enables you to renumber user IDs. If you attempt to renumber a user ID while the user is logged on, an error message displays.

Tip: Renumbering a user ID affects note entries, work orders, and the activity log. It does not affect the X_userid_insert value on every table in the database. For a list of tables and columns affected by user ID renumbering, see tables affected by user renumbering. User ID renumbering history is stored in the usr_renumber table.
Alert: Prior to renumbering User IDs, verify that your organization does not have any MAXQueue Custom Interfaces, Notifications, Approvals or other MAXQueue Integration Modules that are using triggers against the tables affected by renumbering User IDs.
If you have MAXQueue Custom Interfaces, Notifications, Approvals or other MAXQueue Integration Modules do use triggers against the affected tables, momentarily disable these through the MAXQueue Designer. After renumbering User IDs, enable these services again.

To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on old user ID, new user ID, and date and time renumbered.

The fields display the old and new user IDs. If you are renumbering a user ID, both fields are required.
